Dr. B. Uday Kumar Chowdary is currently Professor in the Department of Pediatric and preventive dentistry, SVSIDS. He has completed BDS from Vishnu Dental College, Bhimavaram in 2007 and MDS in 2012 from Government Dental College, Hyderabad. Dr Uday has been actively involved in teaching and conducts classes for BDS students interested in NEET orientation. He has contributed for the pedodontics part in the multiple choice question in the book named Dentovision. He has taken classes for final year students from College of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Rwanda and conducted online assessment exams for them. He has been internal and external examiner for both BDS and MDS exams and is a reviewer for the Dissertations from the university. He reviews scientific articles for journals such as Journal of Dr NTR UHS, and Journal of Dental Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. His areas of interest are special care dentistry, advances in dentistry including cryosurgery.
