Dr.L.R. Surender is the current Professor and Head, Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at SVS Institute of Dental Sciences, Mahabubnagar. He completed his BDS and MDS from the prestigious Government Dental College & Hospital, Hyderabad in 1990 and 1995 respectively. He is a staunch clinician with keen research interests who propagates Evidence based practise. He is an eminent teacher with vast teaching experience of 26 years at various dental colleges during which he ably trained numerous students, who are successful practitioners and researchers worldwide. He is an epitome of knowledge and makes learning a continuous process by attending national and international conferences in Endodontics and Implantology. Apart from dentistry, Dr. Surender attended International conferences pertaining to various domains of medicine like Toxicology and Pharmacology. He trains post graduate students in their clinical work and dissertations and published --- articles of national and international reach. He has been an undergraduate and post graduate examiner for various universities, an invited guest speaker at several conferences and plays a key role as Chairman of Ethical committee at Panineeya Institute of Dental Sciences, Hyderabad and Mallareddy Dental College for Women, Hyderabad. He also served as Inspector for Dental Council of India.
